A savvy homeowner has revealed how she dyed her dull brown stairs a chic grey colour in one evening using a £5 product from Wilko.
Gina, from Bradford, shared results of her transformation in the DIY On a Budget Facebook group, revealing she had spent her Saturday night on the household project.
She used a Dylon Dye Pod fabric dye in shade Smoke Grey for the DIY project, which rejuvenated her brown stairs into trendy modern shade of grey.
Gina said: 'I did it before we went to bed. This morning it's dry...it doesn't feel any different.'

Opening up about the DIY, she said: 'I used Dylon fabric dye in smoke grey.
'Four tablespoons of the powder with 700ml of warm water, stir it well!'
