Today, I'm going to show you 10 looks motivated by British Style's spring-summer 2022 fashion patterns. We'll first take a look at the runway looks, and after that I'm going to recreate the pattern myself, utilizing pieces that I currently own. Let's get on in! The very first trend is everything about the mini-skirt.
This look is motivated by the Miu Miu runway, where they combined an extremely short mini-skirt with a belt and an extra-large cotton shirt. I took some components of the Miu Miu look and paired a puff-sleeve cotton shirt with a tan mini-skirt. I like the blue and tan mix and how the belt perfectly matches the skirt.
For more style pointers for small ladies, see my previous tutorial on how to dress to look high. On my feet, I have a set of pointed-toe heels to pull the appearance together. The next pattern is motorbike journals, and it is everything about leather - whether that is a womanly or masculine take on it.
I chose a set of semi-flared jeans. I like the juxtaposition of something a bit formal and edgy, like my leather coat, with something incredibly casual, like my jeans. The color of the jacket is so rich and beautiful; it just develops an extremely elegant but edgy appearance at the exact same time.
My look, motivated by Missoni, extremely much channels that beachy, blue-and-white vibe. Instead of buying something new that I understand I will probably never ever wear after this season, I opted for my beach cover-up. If you have a long beach cover-up and some sort of tank top, you can really quickly put this appearance together.
The next trend is everything about intense, dynamic, often even neon, colors to play around with color stopping. There are several color combinations that are appearing on the style scene. This catwalk appearance here is red, pink, and orange. I took place to have this beautiful color-blocked gown in comparable tones.
I also love the dress's puff sleeves; they offer off a powerful, boss-lady edge. The next pattern is everything about stripes, especially non-traditional takes on stripes. I like the disorderly energy and boldness of combining stripes with numerous things. My clothing is inspired by the Paul Smith look here. Even though I don't have a pajama-like striped two-piece set, I did choose a striped dress.
I enjoy the unanticipated pairing that these two pieces create. This next pattern is ageless. It's all about white on white on white. You can play with various tones and tones of white. My outfit is influenced by this Cecilie Bahnsen look and I simply like the whimsical quirkiness and girliness of this appearance.
This is such an excellent method to design a corset without being too over the top. I have on a pair of really flowy linen trousers on the bottom. On my feet are black shoes, and I love how they tie in with my hair color. This next pattern is all about shiny things.
I enjoy that on top of a quite basic sequined one-piece suit, you have this actually long, smooth, nearly scarf-like device tied across it. That isn't really wearable, so I used a silky headscarf around my neck as the icing on the cake of the clothing. The next pattern is also a little bit difficult to design.
To make this more wearable, I took a creative approach inspired by this catwalk look. I like the net detail and the ball-looking decoration that produces a polka-dot effect. Without showing every inch of my skin, I paired a pair of polka-dot pants with a sheer dotted top, and underneath I have a easy black bandeau.
The next pattern is everything about early 2000s fashion. This catwalk look inspired me to use my scarf as a leading and set it with some low-rise pants. Using a headscarf as a top is not a new technique in fashion, but I had never ever tried it in the past, and I really like the way it looks.
I enjoy the have fun with different shapes along with the juxtaposition of feminine and manly. This designer appearance provided me a brand new outfit concept. I would never have believed to match my yellow sweater with my flower patterned skirt, as well as my yellow satiny shoes and my pink blazer on top of it.
I enjoy how womanly and effective this attire makes me feel. Now you are all filled out with the spring-summer patterns for 2022; similar to I recreated runway looks with my own pieces, why not attempt doing the very same? Let me understand your preferred trend in the comments below.
