EAP Malaysia is the pioneer of the provision of Applied Behavioural Evaluation (ABA) treatment in Malaysia and was started by Wisconsin Early Autism Task (WEAP) in September 2006. Shortlisted Supervisors then enroll in EAP's 6 month Manager training including over 80 hours of courses over a 20 week period after which they fulfill weekly with their Elderly Supervisor, and have bimonthly otherwise month-to-month Senior Supervision conferences for the children on their caseload.
Furthermore, WEAP's published study in the American Journal of Mental Retardation (November 2005 problem) followed Dr. Ivar Lovaas' study in 1987 and 1993 whereby 48% of the children who took part in the intensive behavioral treatment had the ability to capture up and take part successfully in common institution.
