EAP Malaysia is the leader of the provision of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) therapy in Malaysia and was started by Wisconsin Early Autism Project Malaysia Autism Task (WEAP) in September 2006. Shortlisted Supervisors after that register in EAP's 6 month Supervisor training containing over 80 hours of courses over a 20 week duration after which they satisfy weekly with their Senior Manager, and have bimonthly otherwise regular monthly Senior citizen Supervision conferences for the children on their caseload.
Furthermore, WEAP's released research study in the American Journal of Dementia (November 2005 issue) was consistent with Dr. Ivar Lovaas' study in 1987 and 1993 wherein 48% of the youngsters who participated in the extensive behavioural therapy were able to capture up and participate effectively in regular college.
Each youngster at EAP is assigned a group of therapists that are overseen by a Manager on a biweekly basis and a Senior Manager on a bimonthly basis along with the WEAP Development Reviews two times a year.
