EAP Malaysia is the pioneer of the provision of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) treatment in Malaysia and was founded by Wisconsin early autism project malaysia sdn. bhd Autism Task (WEAP) in September 2006. Shortlisted Supervisors then enroll in EAP's 6 month Manager training including over 80 hours of classes over a 20 week period after which they satisfy once a week with their Senior Supervisor, and have bimonthly otherwise monthly Senior citizen Guidance meetings for the kids on their caseload.
In addition, WEAP's released study in the American Journal of Dementia (November 2005 issue) followed Dr. Ivar Lovaas' research study in 1987 and 1993 whereby 48% of the children who took part in the intensive behavioural therapy were able to capture up and participate efficiently in regular school.
Each child at EAP is designated a team of therapists that are overseen by a Supervisor on a biweekly basis and an Elderly Supervisor on a bimonthly basis in addition to the WEAP Progress Reviews twice a year. EAP continues to preserve world-class high quality ABA treatment as we remain to have our parent firm WEAP supervise our children two times a year.
Dr. Glen Sallows joined the introducing research with Dr. Ivar Lovaas and has actually brought this world-class therapy to countless individuals with autism in the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and Malaysia over the last 2 decades. Play Abilities are important to a kid's development.
