EAP Malaysia is the leader of the provision of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) treatment in Malaysia and was established by Wisconsin Early autism rate in malaysia Task (WEAP) in September 2006. Shortlisted Supervisors after that register in EAP's 6 month Manager training including over 80 hours of courses over a 20 week period after which they fulfill once a week with their Senior Manager, and have bimonthly otherwise regular monthly Senior Supervision meetings for the children on their caseload.
Additionally, WEAP's published study in the American Journal of Dementia (November 2005 problem) was consistent with Dr. Ivar Lovaas' research study in 1987 and 1993 whereby 48% of the kids that participated in the extensive behavioural therapy had the ability to catch up and take part efficiently in regular school.
Each kid at EAP is assigned a team of therapists that are managed by a Manager on a fortnightly basis and a Senior Supervisor on a bimonthly basis along with the WEAP Progression Reviews twice a year. EAP continues to keep world-class quality ABA treatment as we continue to have our parent firm WEAP monitor our kids twice a year.
