EAP Malaysia is the pioneer of the arrangement of Applied Behavioural Evaluation (ABA) therapy in Malaysia and was founded by Wisconsin Early Autism Project Malaysia Sdn. Bhd Autism Project (WEAP) in September 2006. Shortlisted Supervisors then enlist in EAP's 6 month Manager training containing over 80 hours of classes over a 20 week duration after which they satisfy regular with their Elderly Manager, and have bimonthly if not regular monthly Elder Supervision meetings for the youngsters on their caseload.
Furthermore, WEAP's published research in the American Journal of Dementia (November 2005 problem) followed Dr. Ivar Lovaas' research study in 1987 and 1993 where 48% of the youngsters that joined the extensive behavioral treatment had the ability to catch up and get involved effectively in normal institution.
Each kid at EAP is designated a group of therapists who are overseen by a Manager on a biweekly basis and a Senior Supervisor on a bimonthly basis along with the WEAP Progression Reviews two times a year. EAP remains to preserve first-rate quality ABA therapy as we continue to have our moms and dad company WEAP manage our kids twice a year.
