EAP Malaysia is the leader of the stipulation of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) treatment in Malaysia and was founded by Wisconsin early autism project malaysia sdn. bhd Autism Job (WEAP) in September 2006. For all therapists, a first training including 20 hours of courses and 3 weeks on hand-held training is called for before starting work with a child with autism after which routine fortnightly otherwise once a week guidance is supplied via routine overlaps and team conferences.
In addition, WEAP's published research study in the American Journal of Dementia (November 2005 issue) was consistent with Dr. Ivar Lovaas' study in 1987 and 1993 wherein 48% of the children that took part in the intensive behavioral treatment had the ability to capture up and get involved successfully in typical institution.
Each kid at EAP is appointed a group of specialists who are managed by a Manager on a fortnightly basis and a Senior Manager on a bimonthly basis in addition to the WEAP Progression Reviews twice a year. EAP continues to maintain world-class high quality ABA therapy as we continue to have our parent firm WEAP oversee our kids two times a year.
