EAP Malaysia is the pioneer of the stipulation of Applied Behavioural Evaluation (ABA) treatment in Malaysia and was started by Wisconsin early characteristics of autism Autism Task (WEAP) in September 2006. Shortlisted Supervisors then enlist in EAP's 6 month Supervisor training containing over 80 hours of courses over a 20 week period after which they meet weekly with their Elderly Supervisor, and have bimonthly otherwise regular monthly Elder Supervision meetings for the youngsters on their caseload.
Additionally, WEAP's released research in the American Journal of Dementia (November 2005 problem) was consistent with Dr. Ivar Lovaas' research in 1987 and 1993 whereby 48% of the children who participated in the extensive behavioural treatment were able to capture up and participate effectively in typical school.
