EAP Malaysia is the leader of the provision of Applied Behavioural Evaluation (ABA) treatment in Malaysia and was established by Wisconsin early autism indicators Autism Task (WEAP) in September 2006. For all specialists, a first training including 20 hours of courses and 3 weeks on hand-held training is required before starting collaborate with a child with autism after which routine fortnightly if not regular guidance is provided through regular overlaps and group meetings.
Furthermore, WEAP's published study in the American Journal of Mental Retardation (November 2005 concern) was consistent with Dr. Ivar Lovaas' study in 1987 and 1993 whereby 48% of the children who participated in the extensive behavioral treatment had the ability to catch up and participate successfully in normal school.
Each youngster at EAP is appointed a group of therapists who are supervised by a Manager on a fortnightly basis and an Elderly Manager on a bimonthly basis in addition to the WEAP Development Reviews two times a year. EAP continues to preserve first-rate high quality ABA therapy as we continue to have our parent firm WEAP supervise our children twice a year.
In 2020, the Hope Project launched Autism At Home - an online platform to release complimentary video resources and on-line material. EAP's elderly clinic group supervises the quality of ABA treatment offered at EAP and completely has a mixed experience of 32 years of medical method in the area of ABA.
